Overtreatment of Parkinson's disease, such as with excesses of dopamine receptor stimulating medication or oversensitivity of dopamine receptors, will result in abnormal movements at rest (such as chorea or athetosis) and hallucinations. Other potential side-effects include nightmares, orthostasis and nausea.
